Li-ion Battery Management

At Namo E-Waste Management Ltd., we are shaping the future of sustainable energy. Through our subsidiary, Techeco Waste  Management Ltd., we operate a CPCB-authorized, state-of-the -art facility in Nashik with the capacity to process over 12,240 MT of lithium-ion batteries every year. Our fully automated recycling technologies ensure safe, efficient, and responsible battery management that protects the environment and conserves valuable resources.

What We Do

  • Collection and safe recycling of end-of-life Li-ion batteries
  • Refurbishing used cells and packs for second-life applications

  • Complete EPR compliance services as per Battery Waste
    Management Rules 2022

  • Production of high-quality LCO and NMC black mass for

Our facility is built on the principles of environmental care, circular economy, and technological innovation, making us a trusted partner in driving sustainability for a cleaner tomorrow.

Why Battery Recycling Matters?

Conserves Natural Resources

Recovers Valuable Metals

Reduces Environmental Pollution

Prevents Fire & Explosion Risks

Supports Clean Energy

Reduces Dependency on Mining

Recycling lithium-ion batteries is not just an environmental responsibility, it’s a strategic necessity.
It minimizes ecological harm, recovers critical raw materials, and reduces our reliance on mining and fossil fuels. By closing the loop,
we pave the way for a more sustainable and energy-efficient future.

Recycle Process

Steps Involved in Li-ion Battery Recycling

Battery Collection

Used battery packs and battery scrap are collected from various sources for recycling.

Segregation & Sorting

Batteries are sorted, and cells are dismantled. Live Cells are checked and evaluated for capacity and reused for secondary battery applications.

Discharging & Crushing

Dead cells are safely discharged to prevent hazards, then crushed into smaller fractions for further processing.

Material Extraction

The crushed material is processed to extract valuable resources —copper (Cu), aluminum (Al), iron (Fe), and black mass.

Metal Recovery from Black Mass

Black mass undergoes specialized treatment to recover critical battery metals like lithium, cobalt, and nickel, enabling reuse in new battery manufacturing.
